Meet Dan Hoemke

Four Decades of Healthcare Leadership, Strategy, and Growth

Dan Hoemke is a nationally recognized healthcare executive and management consultant with more than 40 years of experience leading health plans, provider organizations, and healthcare innovation across Medicare, Commercial, and Value-Based Care.

In addition to his executive leadership success, Dan has built an extensive consulting career. He began with Mercer as a Lead Benefit Consultant, advising nationally recognized organizations including The Gillette Company, TRW, and RJ Reynolds. He later served as Principal and Alternative Delivery System Practice Lead at ABT Associates, where he led consulting engagements for the State of Maine, numerous health systems, and health plans. Dan is also Co-Founder and Managing Director of Nine Oars, a healthcare market research, strategy, and operating performance firm that has supported organizations including HealthPartners, BCBS Minnesota, UnitedHealthcare, and Sonora Quest Laboratories.
